2. User Eligibility

  • The app is exclusively for students who are eligible to book hostels.
  • Users must provide accurate details, including college ID and Aadhar card, for verification.
  • Matrix Campus reserves the right to deny or revoke access if false information is detected.
  • Users must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the platform.
  • Matrix Campus reserves the right to conduct random verifications to ensure compliance.

3. Registration and Account Security

  • Users must register using OTP authentication.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Matrix Campus is not liable for any unauthorized access to user accounts.
  • Users must promptly notify Matrix Campus of any suspected unauthorized access or security breach.
  • Sharing or transferring accounts to another individual is strictly prohibited.

4. Hostel Listings and Bookings

  • Only hostels partnered with universities are listed on the platform.
  • Hostel owners provide details, availability, and pricing, which Matrix Campus does not modify.
  • Bookings are annual, and students must pay rent accordingly.
  • Users must review the hostel details carefully before confirming a booking.
  • Matrix Campus does not guarantee room availability and is not responsible for overbookings.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payments must be made through the platform using the specified methods, including credit/debit cards, UPI, or net banking.
  • Hostel owners cannot accept offline payments.
  • Payment plans are subject to the policies set by the hostel owners.
  • Late payments may result in penalties, including cancellation of the booking.
  • Matrix Campus does not store payment details; transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation policies vary by hostel and are disclosed at the time of booking.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per the hostel’s terms.
  • Processing times for refunds may vary and are subject to banking regulations.
  • Matrix Campus is not responsible for disputes between students and hostel owners regarding refunds.
  • Students must initiate any refund requests through the app’s dispute resolution system.

7. Hostel Owner Responsibilities

  • Hostel owners must provide accurate and up-to-date information about their property.
  • They may update availability and payment status but cannot modify booking terms set by the platform.
  • Owners may provide feedback on students’ conduct.
  • Hostels must comply with applicable safety, hygiene, and maintenance regulations.
  • Hostels must ensure that all listed amenities and services are available as advertised.

8. Student Responsibilities

  • Students must comply with the hostel’s rules and regulations.
  • Any damage to the property or misconduct may lead to penalties or eviction.
  • Students must vacate the hostel upon the expiration of their stay.
  • Any criminal activities or unlawful behavior within hostel premises will result in immediate termination of stay and may involve legal action.
  • Students must respect the rights and privacy of other residents.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

  • Matrix Campus is a booking facilitator and does not own or manage hostels.
  • We are not liable for issues related to hostel services, including hygiene, security, or living conditions.
  • Matrix Campus is not responsible for financial disputes between users and hostel owners.
  • Users agree that Matrix Campus is not responsible for any personal injuries, theft, or damages occurring within hostel premises.
  • Matrix Campus makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of hostel information provided by hostel owners.

10. Data Privacy

  • Matrix Campus collects and processes personal data in compliance with relevant laws.
  • User data is used only for verification, booking, and service improvements.
  • We do not share personal information with third parties without consent.
  • Users have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data.
  • Matrix Campus employs industry-standard security measures to protect user data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Dispute Resolution

  • Any disputes arising from the use of the app should first be resolved amicably.
